Air Duct Cleaning

Americans spend almost 90% of their time indoors, which makes improving your indoor air quality one of our biggest priorities. Although there are many benefits to having your air ducts professionally cleaned, the most important benefit is that it creates a cleaner, safer home for you and your family.

Did you know your Air Ducts can be hosting all sorts of unhealthy contaminants, which have been related to asthma and allergy problems?

The air system designed to make your home comfortable may, in fact, be making your family uncomfortable and maybe even sick. They play host to a variety of of pollutants, such as mold, mildew, dust mites and pet dander, just to name a few. Many of these contaminants are circulated through the central air systems in homes and can cause allergic reactions and breathing difficulties. If your home is one year old or more, these contaminants could be clinging to every square inch of the air duct system.

Did you know your indoor air can be more hazardous

to your health than your outdoor air?

It's true, the pollutants of the environment get trapped in your home and have no way to escape. These pollutants take up residency in your air ducts, carpets, upholstery, mattresses, drapery; anything that acts as a air filtering system. So when your heater or air conditioner turns on, you are disturbing the particles and pollutants and breathing them in. These particles and pollutants can be in the form of dust mites, pollinating trees, vehicle exhaust, cleaning chemicals, pet dander, mold, bacteria or fungi.

Air duct cleaning has become extremely popular over the last few years because our customers are more concerned than ever about the air quality in their homes. And they should be, in fact the EPA states. "Indoor air pollution is among the top five environmental health risks". For clients searching for ways to reduce airborne contaminants in their homes and places of business, Air Duct Cleaning can be one way to reduce dust, hair, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, etc.

How can these contaminants be removed from your air duct system?

Dry Master Cleaning & Restoration combines proven techniques using a true "source removal" system as stated by the National Air Duct Association. This advanced cleaning method thoroughly scrubs and vacuums your ducts from the vent cover back to the main unit. This leaves you with the assurance of having fresh, clean and virtually contaminant free air in your home or business.

Start breathing easier and enjoying a cleaner indoor environment by having your air duct system professionally cleaned by a trained technician.

Here are a few reasons home and business owners need air duct cleaning

  1. To rid the home or office of allergy causing agents
  2. To breathe cleaner, healthier air
  3. Eliminate musty odors
  4. To save money on future repairs to your HVAC systems
  5. To eliminate the amount of dust in your home or business
  6. To clean up after remodeling or construction
  7. To lower your energy cost

Our Vent Cleaning Process

We have a unique 5 step cleaning system that thoroughly scrubs your duct walls and extracts all the allergy causing debris, leaving your vents almost as clean as when your home was new.

Step 1 - Area Preparation

We will prepare the areas where the vents are located to protect surrounding furnishings.

Step 2  - Remove and Hand Wash Vent Covers

We will remove all of your vent covers and clean them to remove any cooking film or other dust collecting substances. Most cleaners charge extra for this.

Step 3 - Scrub & Vacuum Individual Ducts

While your vent covers are drying our technician will use our patented cleaning unit and clean each duct, started at the vent opening and working back to your main unit. You can actually see our technician physically clean each opening, unlike many companies that disappear into the attic and come back later telling you what they have done. Unfortunately, when they're out of sight, many "cleaners" don't do what they've promised. This is a common problem frequently reported on local news stations, Dateline and 20/20.

Our advanced cleaning system uses special brushes to thoroughly scrub the inside walls of each duct and powerful extraction to take the dust and debris back to our machine, removing pollutants like, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, dust and other contaminants that commonly cause allergic reactions, breathing difficulties and infections. Our system is a true source removal process as stated by the National Air Duct Association.

Step 4 - Reattach Register Covers

After your ducts are thoroughly cleaned, we will reattach your clean vent covers.

Step 5 - Post Cleaning Inspection

Our technician will review the cleaning results with you to insure your total satisfaction.

Written Guarantee

All of our work is guaranteed 100% in writing because we want you to be a happy, long term customer. That's how we've stayed in business, pleasing one customer at a time.

     Other Specialty Services We Offer

Anti-microbial Treatment:

Another valuable service we offer our customers is to disinfect your entire air duct system. The product we use is a hospital-grade, non-allergenic, EPA registered Bacteriastat. Fungistat, Germistat and All-purpose Deodorizer designed specifically for the heating and air conditioning industry.

Our sanitizer will help prevent the re-growth of harmful microorganisms by killing germs, bacteria, and fungus throughout your entire air duct system. It also eliminates the unpleasant odors that are a result of this microbial growth.

Furnace/Air Handler Cleaning:

Over time air handling components can become contaminated with large amounts of dust, pollen, and other debris, as well as moisture. Cleaning the heating and cooling components, such as the fan, squirrel cage, and all accessible air handling components in the furnace, can often improve the efficiency of your air duct system, possibly results in a longer operating life of your system and may even provide some energy savings in the future. Therefore, we recommend cleaning your systems air handler at the same time as your vent cleaning.
