Wood Floor Cleaning

Dry Master Cleaning & Restoration can take care of all your hardwood floor cleaning with our dust free process. The great part about our process is that you won't have to worry about a dust storm from sanding and your floors will look great and shine again. This process is perfect for residential and even heavily used commercial hardwood floors.

6 Step Cleaning Process

Step 1 - Pre-Inspection

We will evaluate your floors to determine what approach is going to be most effective for the current condition of your floors. Different situations require different approaches and we treat each of our client's homes with individual and specific focus.

Step 2 - Area Preparation

We will prepare the areas surrounding the wood, making sure not to disturb any other connecting floor types. At this point all furniture that will be cleaned under is moved.

Step 3 - Dry Soil Removal

Our technicians sweep and vacuum the entire area, maximizing the results we obtain.

Step 4 - Cleaning

The cleaning process includes multiple applications of specialized cleaning solutions with state of the art equipment, PRODUCING NO DUST WHATSOEVER! Surface accumulations of common household pollutants such as food residues or pet oils are removed without abrading your floor to expose any bare wood.

Step 5 - Re-coating (optional but recommended)

You may opt to have your floors re-coated with a protective finish during the wood floor cleaning process. Protected wood floors last longer, clean up easier and stay cleaner longer.

Step 6 - Post Inspection

Our technician will walk through the areas with you to make sure you're thrilled with the results.

Written Guarantee

All of our work is guaranteed 100% in writing because we want you to be a happy, long term client. That's how we've stayed in business, pleasing one customer at a time.

How To Care For Your Wood Floor

The following cleaning and maintenance tips apply to wood floors sealed and finished with a clear protective coating such as polyurethane or factory pre-finished UV coatings.

General cleaning of wood floors is recommended once a week, or at least once every two weeks. Floors subject to heavy traffic should be cleaned on a more frequent basis.

Keep your floor clean! Grit tracked in under your feet ruins the surface of wood floors, and any other flooring material, faster than anything else. No grit, no damage.

To help maintain your floor, do the following:

  • Blot up spills immediately.
  • Dust mop floors using an untreated mop and proper wood floor cleaner.
  • Use door mats and walk-off mats whenever possible to keep dirt and grit off the floor.

Avoid the following with wood floors:

  • DO NOT use powder cleaners or soft cream cleaners (Soft Scrub).
  • DO NOT use mold removers (Tile X, X14, etc.) or disinfectants (Lysol).
  • DO NOT use furniture polish (Pledge, Jubilee, Endust)
  • DO NOT use vinegar

Of course, the best way to maintain the aesthetic appeal and health of your hardwood floors is to call Dry Master Cleaning & Restoration TODAY at 972-680-8982.
